FIFA World Cup 2022: Spain vs. Germany Highlights, Fullkrug's late equalizer over Spain to save the day for Germany.

Spain vs Germany Highlights: Niclas Fullkrug scored a stunning late goal against Spain as Germany came from behind to level 1-1, Germany is still alive for the Round of 16.

Substitute Alvaro Morata scored a beautiful goal in the 62nd minute to give Spain the lead 1-0 in the second half but German striker Niclas Fullkrug fired the equalizer in the 83rd to earn the first point for Germany in the last two games in the FIFA World Cup 2022. 

 Earlier in the game, Antonio Rudiger managed to get the ball behind the nets with a header but the goal was disallowed due to offside, while many of the chances were missed by both teams. 

 Alvaro Morata came off the bench to score the opening goal in the 62nd minute with a little flick inside the box that went past Manuel Neuer and took Spain into the lead. 

 But after a few minutes, Niclas Fullkrug found the leveler for Germany in the 83rd minute, saved the day for Germany. 

 The 2014 World Champions will remains at the bottom of Group E after a shocking defeat by Japan in the opening game of their World Cup campaign, but a win over Costa Rica in the final group fixture would be enough to reach the Round of 16 unless Japan pulls off another upset against Spain in their last group fixture.
